Youth Education and Transition Services (YETS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, adolescents, young adults, and their families through high-quality behavioral health, educational, and supportive services.
YETS has provided comprehensive, community-based services throughout the State of New Jersey, helping young people overcome challenges, develop resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting success in their homes, schools, and communities.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support the emotional, behavioral, educational, and personal growth of youth by providing accessible, compassionate, and effective services that promote positive outcomes and lifelong well-being.
We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, learn, and succeed — regardless of their circumstances or challenges.
What We Do
Comprehensive Services for Ages 5–21
YETS provides licensed counseling and supportive services for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5 through 21. Our services are designed to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, social, and educational needs while empowering youth and families to build on their strengths and create positive change.
Trauma-Informed Care
We recognize the impact that adverse experiences and trauma can have on a young person's development and well-being. Our services promote safety, trust, empowerment, and healing while respecting each individual's unique experiences.
Solution-Focused Practices
We help youth and families identify strengths, build skills, and develop practical strategies to achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
Evidence-Based Interventions
We utilize proven clinical approaches and best practices that are supported by research and designed to produce measurable, positive outcomes.
